I'm a Ph.D. Candidate in the department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

 

My research is dedicated to exploring the intricate relationships between language and identity through a sociophonetic lens. In particular, my research focuses on bilingualism, heritage speakers, and speakers of the LGBTQIA+ community and explores how these groups use language as a way to express their identity.
